MCE SIP Phone comes in two flavors:

• MCE SIP Phone for Windows XP MCE 2005
  (version 1.0.5, 21-12-2005, 986 KB)
  Install this application on any PC that runs Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
  This installation includes the application for regular Windows XP machines, so you don't need to download the following file.
   
• MCE SIP Phone for Windows XP
  (version 1.0.4, 10-09-2005, 401 KB)
  Install this application on any PC that runs regular (non-MCE) Windows XP.
  You can use this application if you don't have a Media Center PC, but do want to have video conversations with people that do have such machines.

Please remember:

• This software is provided "as is".
• Support will not be given.
• It is not allowed to any other party than OABsoftware to (re)distribute or sell MCE SIP Phone, neither separate, nor as part of a Media Center PC package, nor in any other way.

Installation note

If you installed a previous version of MCE SIP Phone on your PC, then please do the following before installing the latest version of MCE SIP Phone:

• First reboot the machine.
• Make sure the Windows Media Center application is not running; close it, if necessary.
• Start the Task Manager by simultaneously pressing the CTRL-ALT-DELETE buttons on your keyboard;
  select the process called "ehmsas.exe" and press the DELETE button on your keyboard to temporarily stop that process;
  do the same for the process called "MCESIPPhoneCore.exe".
• Then install the latest version of MCE SIP Phone.
